It’s GOLD, again! 

We are delighted to have been awarded GOLD in the category of best Cafe/Tearoom. This is the seventh year running that we have been awarded the highest rating of ‘Gold’ by Taste of the West.

The judges praised our commitment to local sourcing and especially liked that we rear our own Ruby Red Cows to supply the cafe direct with some of our own meat.

They also said:

“Home Farm Cafe really goes above and beyond with their really interesting choices on the menu on top of the usual baguettes and jacket potatoes. I started with a Root Vegetable Slaw. Beautifully presented, very fresh and finely shredded vegetables in a delicious dressing. This was followed by an outstanding Devon Chicken Noodle Broth. I finished of with one of their beautifully moist Brownies”.

“This is great a place to visit, not only is the food fresh, interesting and locally sourced, but the café itself is warm and welcoming and set within the National Trust Parke Estate, so you can have a lovely walk before or after. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and the Barista makes a fabulous coffee. I will definitely visit here again. They are really doing a fantastic job”.
