Following the announcements made by the Prime Minister at yesterday’s briefing and the National Trust’s decision this morning to close sites including houses, cafes and shops, by this Friday (March 20) and now with the closure of schools, it is with reluctance that we will be temporarily closing Home Farm Café until the end of April to help the nation fight the spread of the coronavirus, effective this Friday.
Many factors have been considered when making this decision, including; whether internally the cafe allows enough space for adequate social distancing, the health and wellbeing of staff and customers and of course encouraging social gathering, against the Chief Medical Officers guidelines.
We’re talking with our amazing team over the next few days and we will do our utmost to look after them during this difficult time, we are strong team, the café is our world and it is with heavy hearts that we take these steps.
The health and wellbeing of our staff, customers, visitors and all our extended families and friends remains our top concern…
Parke is open and there is no charge for car parking for the foreseeable future, please enjoy the open space and we will do our utmost to re-open as soon as we are able…
…we are very sad right now…
We promise to be back just as soon as we can to bring smiles to your faces, bake, create and deliver some exciting and delicious food in a place that always feels like home…
Nick, Sarah and the whole café team x
